Trunks (Chibi Trunks): Son of Vegeta and Bulma, Trunks is only an infant when he first
appears in DBZ during the Android Saga. He has purple hair like his grandfather Dr. Briefs, but his facial features,
stance and strong Saiyan pride clearly show that he is a descendant of the Saiyan royal line. He has a sister named
Bulla who is about 12 years younger than he is. His role becomes much larger by the Buu Saga, at which point Trunks
is 8 years old and fantastically strong for his age. He goes Super Saiyan while training with Vegeta in the gravity
room, an event that comes as a shock to all considering his young age. Filled with pride, Chibi Trunks is adventurous
and constantly looks for stronger opponents to challenge, much like his father. During the final episodes of DBZ, Trunks,
who is now 18, appears to be developing the same personality as Future Trunks. He can be seen as adult Trunks throughout
GT as well. Trunks is born in the year 766 AD, and is 29 years old by the end of GT.
Trunks (Mirai no Trunks, Future Trunks): The son of Bulma and Vegeta He is around 18 when he first appears in DBZ to stop Frieza
from destroying Earth. He is from the future and has witnessed a threat to Earth which cannot be stopped in that time. He
has come back in time to try to save the Earth of his time, only to find our heroes in Earth facing their own peril. Much
to the amazement of our friends, Trunks immediately turns Super Saiyan and defeats Frieza and King Cold. He gives Goku medicine
to prevent his death from heart disease and tells them of Earth's coming predicament. The Z Fighters immediately go into training,
and Trunks returns to his own time. Trunks returns to our timeline again in the Android Saga to ensure that the Androids do
arrive on Earth and are stopped. He is also born during this saga, so we have the opportunity to see him both as a teenager
and a baby at the same time. He continues to exist as a boy and a teen until the end of the Cell Saga, when the older Trunks
returns to his original timeline and we see the baby grow up in DBGT.

Gohan: Goku and Chi Chi's first son, named after Goku's adoptive grandfather
Gohan. In early DBZ, Gohan is put through events that would traumatize any little kid. One day, he's kidnapped by his uncle
Raditz, and watches as a furious battle ensues between Goku, Piccolo and his uncle. When Raditz proves his superiority in
power, Gohan's anger explodes and he manages to seriously injure Raditz, which neither Goku nor Piccolo had been able to do.
After Goku's & Raditz death, Piccolo leaves Gohan in the wilderness to train. Gohan is forced to grow up quickly, he becomes
attached to Piccolo, his teacher, and idolizes him. When Gohan's Saiyan power becomes mixed with his human emotions, he is
able to summon an unbelievable amount of power. This power is released when Gohan becomes extremely angry. When Cell learns
of this he purposely pushes Gohan until he finally explodes with rage and then goes SSJ2, the first person to ever reach this
stage. With a broken arm, Gohan kills Cell using a one-handed Kamehameha. Gohan is the only Saiyan to become Mystic, which
is a special ability granted by Old Kai that allows Gohan access to his highest power level without having to go Super Saiyan
at all. Gohan meets Videl in high school, who suspects that something is fishy about the Great Saiyaman. They become good
friends after she catches him in costume without the mask, and he teaches her how to fly. They fall in love, and at the end
of DBZ, they have a daughter named Pan. Akira Toriyama originally wanted Gohan to become the main character, of the series,
but the fans wanted Goku back, so Toriyama drifted away from Gohan to focus more on his father again. After the Buu Saga,
Gohan gives up fighting and finally achieves his mother's dream for him to become a scholar. Throughout GT, he fights from
time to time, but he generally remains a glasses-wearing nerd.
Grandpa Gohan: Gohan raised Goku from a very young age. A skilled fighter himself and once trained under
Master Roshi, Gohan did his best to instill virtue into his young grandson, often challenging him with difficult tasks. His
only goal was for Goku to become a strong, accomplished fighter with a good heart. When Goku transforms into Oozaru he crushes
Gohan and when Goku goes back to normal to find his Grandpa was killed Goku believes his spirit lives on in the 4-Star Dragon
Ball.
Kame-senin (Master Roshi/Muten Roshi): An ancient and wise master of martial
arts, Roshi has accumulated great power and knowledge. Because he has lived for countless years on a deserted island with
only a turtle for companionship, he is also called the 'Turtle Hermit.' His home, the Kame house, continues to serve as a
gathering place for the good guys. Although he may appear strange, frail and harmless, Master Roshi is indeed a great warrior.
He originally trained Goku and Krillin when they were young boys. The first earthling to ever understand how to nurture and
control the Power of Light, Roshi trains Goku and Krillin in its use. It was Master Roshi who taught Goku the Kamehameha attack.
Master Roshi's Rival is the Crane Elder.
Korin (Karin-sama): Grower of the powerful Senzu Beans, Karin lives in a
tower just below Kami's palace. He is very wise and is also the protector of the sacred and holy waters. Karin trains Goku
during the Tao Pai Pai fight, although Goku didn't know it at the time. He doesn't make big appearances in Z or GT, but he
always comes through with Senzu Beans.
Krillin (Kuririn or Krillen): Krillin is Goku's best friend
& was born a year before Goku. He received the 6 dots on his forehead when he joined the monks of the Orinji Temple. Small
scars are burned into the foreheads of each member. Krillin first meets Goku in Dragonball, where they are rivals who both
seek the training of Master Roshi. They eventually learn to work together & become best friends. His fav. attacks are
Destructo Disk, Tri-form, Kamehameha, and Solar Flare. Krillin is killed by one of King Piccolo's spawns in DB. But is later
brought back to life with a wish using the Dragon Balls. In DBZ, Krillin ventures with Bulma and Gohan to Namek so they can
make a wish with the Namekian Dragon Balls. Once there, he receives a power-up from Guru, and manages to survive until the
late Frieza Saga when he is blown up by Frieza. Krillin's death triggers Goku to go Super Saiyan. At the end of the Frieza
Saga, he is again wished back to life, this time with the Namekian Dragon Balls. Years later, Krillin marries Android 18,
and together they have a daughter named Marron. During the years between the Cell Saga and the Buu Saga, Krillin decides to
stop shaving his hair. He is turned to stone by Dabura for several episodes, but at the death of Dabura, Krillin is restored.
He dies along with the entire human race when Buu destroys Earth, and is brought back with a wish on the Namek Dragonballs.
In GT, his characters importance wanes even further. However, Krillin dies for the fourth time when Android 17 attacks him
while he and Number 18 are out shopping. Again, he brought back later with a wish. Because he dies and receives severe bodily
injuries many more times than any other character in the series, Krillin is indubitably the unluckiest character in Dragonball.
The 4th picture of Krillin is what he looks like in Dragonball GT. As you can tell by the image he has gotten pretty old.
He never really "quits" fighting but he knows he is nothing compared to Super Saiyans so that's probably why he isn't seen
trying to attack things like the Shadow Dragons. Either Krillin or Tien is the strongest human in existence but which one
is never truly said. In my opinion Tien is stronger but I there's people out there that would disagree. But then again people
might think Yamcha is stronger.....
Launch (Lunch/Ranchi): A girl with the ability to change personalities and looks when she sneezed,
Lunch was a sweat, lovable girl in one form and a mean, machine-gun wielding gangster in the other. Her change comes in handy
during the Budoukai's when she would clear the crowd and allow her friends to get up front. She's a very good cook and also
falls in love with Tenshinhan. Lunch makes quite a few appearances in the original series, but very few in the two others
Marron: Krillin's and #18's daughter, Marron is born without
a nose like her father, but has one in Dragon Ball GT. She is born late in the DBZ series, and doesn't play a very large role
in GT either.
Krillin's first girlfriend, Maron is very ditsy and uncommitted. She's very out-spoken and often calls Chichi and Bulma
'old ladies' which makes them want to kill her. Thinking that Krillin wouldn't marry her, she takes off with another guy.
During the Android Saga, she shows up at Kame House looking for Krillin saying that he was the only guy she ever loved. After
a while she gets bored and takes off with her boyfriends to never be seen again.
Oolong: Oolong is a shape-shifting pig who joined forces
with the good guys. He attended the same shape-shifting school as Puar, but cheated to pass. Oolong can only change shape
for a short period of time and then has to rest. Not much of a fighter, he mostly hangs out at Master Roshi's home.
Ox-King (Gyuu Maou): Despite his threatening sounding name,
Gyuu Maou is really quite harmless and fun loving. He was slightly peeved when his castle became engulfed in flames on Mount
Frypan and wreaked havoc through the village at the foot of the mountain, but hey, whaddya gonna do? He's Chichi's father
and thus Goku's father-in-law. He's very strong And trained along-side Gohan under Master Roshi's
tutelage. As the series he becomes less and less of an important character, and eventually just fades into being background
filler. In the anime, he has a few large roles though from time to time
Pan: Daughter of Gohan and Videl, granddaughter of
Goku. Born in the year 779 AD, she competes in the 28th Tenkaichi Budoukai when she is only 5 years old. She proves her Saiyan bloodline by completely wrecking her opponents,
including Goten, her 17-year-old uncle. Pan plays a larger role in GT, where as a teenager she embarks on a long journey in
space with Trunks and Goku to find all of the Black-star Dragonballs scattered across the galaxy. Originally, it was Goten
who was supposed to travel with Trunks and Goku, but while Goten sleeps late, Pan sneaks onboard the ship and takes his place.
She develops quite an attitude, and gets into a lot of trouble on different planets. Giru, the helpful little robot who travels
with them, tries to protect Pan, but usually ends up getting yelled at by the independent teenager. However, deep down Pan
really has feelings for the little guy. With the exception of Android 18, Pan is the most powerful female fighter in the anime series.
Piccolo: The son of King Piccolo, Piccolo followed his father's plans, until
the beginning of DBZ. During the Saiyan Saga, he means only to join the side of good, for the time being, but ends up on their
side for good. Gohan helped him to become the Piccolo we now see. Even Goku helped. He later fuses with Nail and Kami, which
makes him the strongest fighter on Earth. (For the time being.) Though he is a strong fighter and helps out in every series
a lot, he can not match a Super Saiyan's powers.
Raditz (Radditz) : Goku's brother that was sent to Earth to find out why it hadn't been destroyed
yet. Being the weaker of the three Saiyan's still under Frieza's control, his power was three times his brothers. Raditz kidnaps
Gohan and tries to force Goku to join him. Piccolo & Goku team up and Goku manages to get a hold of Raditz while Piccolo
shoots them both with his Special Beam Cannon.
Suppa Man: An inhabitant of Penguin Village, He looks like a short,
pudgy Clark Kent who can change into his alter ego "Suppa Man" by running into a telephone booth and putting on a Superman
outfit. He is really just an average human with average strength, but he claims to have super powers which he gains by
eating pickled plums. He meets General Blue, who orders him to step out of his car, the man refuses and promptly
runs into a nearby telephone booth and changes into "Suppa Man". He then steps out and declares that he will not give
up his car to any source of evil. General Blue calmly goes to the telephone booth, picks it up and crushes it in his
hands. Suppa Man then gladly gives Blue his car and even gives him directions to the nearest airport. As Blue drives away, "Suppa Man" stands triumphant, declaring that he has made that particular
place of ground that he's standing on a safer place.
Umi-Game (Turtle): Master
Roshi's friend and long-time companion, the good-natured Turtle lives in the Kame House with the elderly hermit. Turtle's
calming wisdom often serves to keep Master Roshi in line during his moments of weakness.
Valese: A teenaged redhead girl that Goten asks out on a
date when she's left behind on the search for the Black Star Dragon Balls. She is very naive, but seems sincerely interested in Goten as a boyfriend. Last seen
when Goten lost the fight against teenaged Baby. Does appear briefly later on, beside Goten again.
Vegeta Jr. : He fights against Goku
Jr. in the very last World Tournament shown in the series. Vegeta Jr. can go Super Saiyan just like any other Saiyan descendant.
His abilities are shown mildly so it appears as though he has not very many powers. Vegeta Jr. is
the son of one of Bulma's descendent.
Vegeta Ou (King Vegeta): The king of all Saiyans and the father of Vegeta.
He is probably the strongest Saiyan in his time but is definitely seen as the strongest Saiyan. King Vegeta realizes that
Frieza has no further use of the Saiyans and no longer needs them around. After trying to attack and kill Frieza, King Vegeta
is killed with a single blast.
Videl: 17 years old, Videl is an expert of martial
arts. She is the daughter of Hercule and attends Orange Star High with Gohan. She is often called upon by the city to aid
in police matters. She is determined to unmask the Great Saiyaman. When she finds out that it is Gohan, she threatens to tell
everyone his secret unless he joins the upcoming tournament. Gohan also teaches her how to fly. Videl fights in the World
Martial Arts Tournament. At Gohan's suggestion, she cuts her hair before the tournament. Eventually, Videl marries Gohan and
they have a daughter, Pan.
Yajirobe (Yajirobi): He's
a coward, but a good warrior considering he's human. He usually does something brave at the last second of some fights. Now-a-days
he's seen living up in Korin's Tower offering the Z-Fighters Senzu Beans if they happen to visit.
Yamcha: A longtime friend and ally of Goku's,
though he was once a notorious bandit. He is sometimes accompanied by Puar, his devoted cat companion. In the heat of battle
against the Saiyans, Yamcha volunteers to fight the Saibamen instead of Krillin but is killed. He and Bulma were once together,
and often illicit sparks fly for each other. Eventually Bulma moves on to Vegeta. Later in the series he quits fighting and
can usually be seen at hanging out at Capsule Corp.
